AIGA - GAMING CAREER IS AIGA.
It took a lot of understanding AIGA, AIGA students and the industry to
delve and uncover what it is that will make AIGA stand apart and not
become one in a herd. In a market full of animation schools and
confusion between animation, 3D and gaming - it is not an easy
decision for a 20-something year old to choose a career path. AIGA
(Asian Institute of Gaming and Animation) already had a solid industry
reputation and acceptance among leading gaming studios in the country.
What it needed was to let them know that they had to own gaming
careers. This was an exercise in Human Factor Integration. There was
need to get their own students to be their heroes and role-models for
the newer lot coming in and build a strong alumni and student culture.
Apart from positioning, it was interesting to study the cross-section
of students passing out of AIGA.
